Dewar 7, V. Green 8. Senior Teams’ Race (Orr Walker Cup)—Timaru ,(S. Johns, D. Squire, H. Ward, T. Shivas, E. Wilson), 31 points, 1; Temuka, 38 points, 2; West End, 68 points, 3; Presbyterian, 81 points, 4. Junior Teams’ Race (Fraser Shield) —Timaru (F. O’Gorman, M. McKay, M. Drake) 11 points, 1; Anglican, 14 points, 2; Presbyterian, 39 points, 3; Temuka, 47 points, 4. SOUTHLAND TITLES. INVERCARGILL, July 15. . The Civil Service Harrier Club (Dunedin) won both Southland senior and junior cross-country championships to-day. This is the fourth time in succession that Civil Service has won-the senior championship, and the fourth occasion on which A. R. Geddes (Civil Service) has been the individual champion. ST. JOHN’S . CLUB. The St. John’s Harrier Club held a run on Saturday, in ideal conditions, from St. John’s schoolroom over the hills behind Alexander Street to Winnie Street, through the newly-formed streets to Marsden Road, round Marlborough Street, and Cottle’s .Hill, coming out behind Rugby Park, and thence back to the schoolroom, via High Street, a distance of approxi(mately four and a-half miles. The run-in resulted: —J . Daniel 1, W. Waugh 2, K. Fehsenfeld 3.
