'SATURDAY’S MATCH Mawhera defeated Wesley at the Recreation Ground on Saturday, in a fast ,even game, by three goals to two. All the goals were scored in the first spell. Heaton and O’Callaghan (2) goaled' for the winners, and O’Connor and Peake for Wesley. Messrs. Newton and Butler were pie umpires. AT OTHER CENTRES TIMARU, July 15. Otago were successful in winning two representative hockey matches played against South Canterbury at Ashbury Park, Timaru, this afternoon.
