MOTOR-CAR CAPSIZES
ONE PASSENGER KILLED.

Owing to a tyre bursting, a sedan motor-car, with six occupants, got out of control when descending the Stoke side of Bishopd'afe Hill, on Saturday evening. The car turned over, becoming a complete wreck so far as the bodywork was concerned. All the occupants were admitted 1 to.- hospital. Charles Knight, 58, late of Christchurch, butcher, died' on Sunday morning, from internal injuries. . W. M. Bourne, of Takaka, the driver, received- head injuries, but hisi condition isf not serious. Colin Berkett, of Hope, severe facial cuts, not serious. Miss Doris 1 Berkett, of Hope, broken collarbone. Miss Rata Kenning, injured' back. D. M. McLaren, shock and' bruises.
