COMPETITIONS FESTIVAL.

gj r —in reference to the letter published in Saturday’s paper regarding the Competitions Festival, I quite agree with “Jackpot’s” views, and would suggest to the committee, that the three main points as pointed out in the letter be carried, into effect in arranging this year’s programme. I trust that recalls will be heard at the evening session, and that the' character work will be performed! at the Town Hall which, with the aid ot stage lighting, scenery, etc., will considerably help the competitors, and I fe'e'l sure that, both the competitois and society will benefit by this change. Yours etc.. i NTERES TED.
