Following the establishment of the Ministry of Supply, there has been a reorganisation among junior Ministers, bringing a woman M.P. into the Government. The appointment of Colonel J. Liewellin as Parliamentary Secretary of the new Ministry, at the head of which is Dr. Burgin, leaves a vacancy at the. Admiralty, where Captain Hudson becomes Civil Lord, Mr Robert Bernays succeeds Mr. Hudson as Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Transport, and his nlaee as Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Health is filled by Miss Florence Horsburgh v (Conservative, Dundee), who has been a member of the British delegation to the League Assembly at Geneva on several occasions.
