HARRIERS. The St. John’s Harrier Club held a run on Saturday from St. John’s schoolroom to the Marsden Road tram, thence to the South Beach mill, and back to the schoolroom via High Street. Result: D. Henderson 1, I Burrell 2, J. Daniel 3.The distance was eight miles, and the time taken by the winner was 55 minutes. Ten runners participated'. Next Saturday’s run will be between two relay teams of four men each, from Greymouth to Marsden, thence to the main road at Paroa, and return to Greymouth. The distance is approximately 20 miles.

C won from St. Mary's C by default. CYCLE RACES. A cycle road race conducted by the Greymouth Cycling Club from the Cobden Hotel to Runanga and return, cn Saturday, resulted: —D. Clark 1, F. Shrives 2, G. Poole 3. Fourteen started 1 .. M. Malone secured fastest time. The Runanga Cycling Club’s race yesterday, from Rapahoe to the Old Mill Road and return, about nine miles, resulted: M. Malone scr, 20min 4secs, 1; K. Moore, Imin. 21mins. 4 2-ssecs, 2; H. Furness 40secs, 2min. 45secs, 3, Eight'started. The first three riders finished almost on terms. M. Malone gained fastest time.
