BERLIN, May 14.
Herr Hitler to-morrow will begin a fortnight’s visit to the key points in the German fortification. He first will go to the Siegfried Line, and then eastward. He will thoroughly examine the positions and equipment of the troops on the whole eastern front, including the Baltic and East Prussia.
GOERING TAKES WARNING.
BERLIN, May 14.
Field-Marshal Goering returned from his Mediterranean cruise last night.
It is reported that he cancelled his Madrid visit after the Gestapo had warned him that the city was full of Republicans willing to risk a shot at a distinguished Nazi.
ARRESTS IN PRAGUE.
LONDON, May 12.
The Prague correspondent of “The Times” states that Black Shirts raided the Czech police headquarters at Erno and arrested 21, some of whom attempted suicide.
Many Social Democratic refugees some with passports to England were arrested, including M. Cekota, a newspaper editor, who recently went to Germany at the invitation of the German Press Association.
