AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP. [BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] SYDNEY. May 13. The Australian sculling championship was won by the title-holder. C. Pearce (New South Wales) by seven lengths. L. Cook (Tasmania ) was second. and R. Proctor (Queensland) was third. Time, Limin. user, an Australian record. KING’S CUP TO QUEENSLAND. BRISBANE. May 13. The Australian eight-oar rowing championship for the King’s Cup (in which the title-holders. Western Australia. did not compete (his year) was won by Queensland, with New South Wales second, and South Australia I bird. Victoria finished second, but was disqualified for passing a buoy on the wrong side. Queensland won by one length and three-quarters, there being two lengths between New South Wales and South Australia.
