INCENDIARY FIRE
AT ARMY CAR DEPOT.

LONDON, May 10
After anonymous threats had been received at a nearby Royal Air Force airport a big blaze occurred at an Army ordnance depot near Nottingham last night.
The fire destroyed hundreds of light motor-vehicles and tyres.
The depot is one of the chief distributing centres for Army cars.
OFFICIAL REPORT.
(Recd. May 11, 8.30 a.m.). LONDON, May 10:
The petrol tanks burst. One big shed was destroyed, but the other was saved.
It is officially stated that no vehicles were damaged, and that a large number of tyres were saved.
SOLDIER CHARGED.

. A soldier has been remanded, on a charge of setting fire to the ordnance building.
