SHIPPING NOTES. Hokitika sailed early this afternoon for Hokitika, to load timber for Wellington. Totara is to sail at 4 o’clock this afternoon, with coal for Wellington. Puriri is to sail at 6 p.m. to-day, for New Plymouth and Picton. She is to return on Friday, to load timber for Onehunga. and Port Waikato. Alexander is scheduled to sail at noon to-morrow, with, coal for Nelson. Karn is to sail at 4 a.m. to-morrow with timber for Petone and Wellington. She is to return about March 20 or 22, to again load timber for Picton, Miramar and Wellington. Gabriella is to sail to-morrow evening for Wellington. She is to return about March 20 or 22, to again load for Wellington. Kartigi has been delayed at .Wellington by a shortage of trucks for discharge, and is now to leave there tomorrow with cargo for Greymouth. She is due on Thursday, and will load coal for return to Wellington. Titoki is to leave Tarakohe on Thursday for Greymouth, being due on Friday, to load coal for return. Omana is due on March 25, to load timber for Melbourne and Adelaide. A Union Company vessel is due about April 11, to load timber for Sydney and Newcastle.
