WE ATM ER FO R E CAST. General situation: An anti-cyclone covers the Tasman Sea and extends on to the North Island. Pressure is still rather low to the south an 1 south-east. Forecast: Moderate to fresh southwesterly to westerly winds. A few scattered showers, mainly in southern parts, but weather for the most part fair. Temperatures moderate. Seas rather rough at first., in southern parts, otherwise moderate.
