JAPANESE DISASTER [by CABLE—PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] (Recd. Jan. 23. 11 a.m.). TOKIO. January 22. A gas explosion in the coal-mines at. Miyadacho, Prefecture of Fukuoka, five miles below the surface, hurled 75 miners.
Six have been rescued, and five bodies recovered.
