HOLDSWORTH WINS TITLE. [PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, September 4. The New Zealand amateur billiards championship tournament concluded on Saturday night, when L. W. F. Holdsworth’ (Auckland) won the title from S. Moses (Wellington). The final scores were: Holdsworth 1,500, Moses i 1,180. The best, breaks were: Holdsworth, 82. 77. 65, 60. 48, 45, and 44; | Moses. 110. 53. 50, 37 twice, and 34.. The next championships will be held at Auckland, where Holdsworth previously won the title in 1935.
