(OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] I Mrs. Johnson welcomed three new members at the monthly meeting of the Runanga W.I. Mrs. W. Duggan 'was acting secretary, Mrs. Barker being absent through sickness. Mrs. E. iKennedy read the aspirations. It was (decided to send 1/- per member to I the Leper Fund. After a discussion on “Uncle Mick and Sambo” it was decided to petition Mr. Spiers, to continue. Mrs. Sweeney read her report on the conference in Wellington. She received a vote of thanks. j
