WEATHER FORECAST General situation: Yesterday’s depression has passed eastward and pressure is rising rapidly over the Dominion. A secondary is however, approaching across the South Tasman. An intense anti-cyclone covers Eastern Australia. Forecast: Moderate to strong winds with southerlies to westerlies predominating. Weather cloudy and changeable, with occasional rain, and snow on the ranges, but an improvement commencing to-morrow. Temperatures cold. Seas rough with a considerable swell.
