NAPLES —THE CITY OF SONG.— Front the tiny when Greek colonists founded it, Naples has been a city of importance. After the downfall of the Grecian Empire, it retained its independence for a period and was united to Imperial Rome in 480 B.C. and shared the ups and downs of that great Empire.
