KING’S VISIT TO FRANCE
ARRANGEMENTS COMPLETED. [BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.] RUGBY, July 16. Arrangements are now complete for the Royal visit to Paris beginning on Tuesday. The visit, will certainly take place, except in the case of an unforeseen set-back in His Majesty’s health. The newspapers describe in detail the arrangements in Paris for the reception of the King and Queen, from the Union Jacks and other decorations in the streets to the domestic arrangements of the Quai D’Orsay Palace, where the King and Queen will stay. DOLLS FOR PRINCESSES PARIS, July 15. Forty-two dresses and eight fur coats are included in the troussea of two beautiful dolls named France and Marianne, which will be presented to Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret Rose in connection with the Royal visit to France. The dolls are also equipped with hats, gloves, shoes, handbags, handkerchiefs, umbrellas, fans and perfumes. Each doll has its own touring car, cradle, and perambulator. ESPIONAGE SUSPECT. (Rccd. July 18, 1 p.m. LONDON, July 17. The “Telegraph’s” Paris correspondent says: A German, Oscar Bruckman, arrested at Corbie, had been staying recently near Villers Bretonneux. He is suspected of espionage, as he received large sums of money, although not working.
