NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIPS [per press association.] AVANGANUI, June 3. Two New Zealand championships were decided at the North Island sheep dog trials at Paparangi to-day. The weather was again ideal. Results: New Zealand Championship, long head —Frazer Smith’s (Awakino) Highland King'. 90 points, 1; Donald McLean’s (Takapau) Scott, 89, 2; A\. J. McGaveston’s (AVaipukurau.) Zoe, 881, 3. New Zealand Championship, short head and yard—AV. J. McGaveston’s (AVaipukurau) Zoe. 113 points, 1: M. A. Matheson’s (Middlemarch) Scott, 110. 2; AV. Thom’s (Hastings) Kempt, 1091. 3.
