Jealousy so preyed on the mind of a young married man. that ho throw himself in from of tin approaching tram yesterday morning. This was the story told to Magistrate Di vvy, this morning, when a young man. whose name was suppressed. appeared to answer a charge of at templed silicide. ’l'he man entered a plea of not guilty ami the case was hold over until the Magistrate had considered the matter. Sub-Inspector Packer said the man had only been married sixteen months, ami became jealous. In a statement to Ihe police, be had slated ho threw himself in such a way that, the car would not. go over him.
