Act, 1911, published with the Gazette to-night. The regulations authorise the Minister for Agriculture io appoint remount. committees as the need arises. Each committee is to consist of three members, holding ollice during the pleasure- of the Minister, ami appointed under consultution, with the representatives of the executive committees of lite Royal Agricultural Sotidy. 'l'lie regulations also provide tor tin inspection of stallions by members oi the committee, who are required to report whether or not in their opinion they are of a type whose progeny would be suitable for military purposes. The Minister will decide after considering the reports of the committee and Government veterinarians whether a subsidy should lie granted in respect of a stallion, and his decision is linal and binding on all parties.
