HONEY CONTROL BOARD
POLICY BEING ARRANGED. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION’.] AUCKLAND. April 29. The appointment of Messrs R. Penny, of Okaiawa, Taranaki, and L. F. Robins, of Temuka Cantierbury, as producers’ representatives op the New Zealand Honey Control Board was an--n-opriced to-day_-J.hes4^Hwoin tmototogether with that of Mr. W. Nelson, of Otorohanga. as the Government nominee and chairman, complete the personnel of the new board, the members of which take office in succession io Messrs J. R. Rutland. P. 11. Hilary, and W. Watson, who' resigned lii protest against the Government's policy for the marketing of honey. Mr. Penny is a prominent apiarist, and for many years has taken a leading part in the affairs of industry. He is president of the Taranaki branch of the National Bee Keepers' Association. He will represent the North Island producers on the board. Mr. Robins, who is well known in the industry in the south, has had wide experience in the production, preparation. and packing of honey. He is general president of rhe National- Bee Keepers' Association.
