COCKBURN—MURTAGH. At Holy Trinity Church, tliis morning, the wedding was solemnised ot Phvllis Esther, daughter of Mr amt Mrs A. E. Murtagh, Brick Street, and Arnold Eric, son of.Mr and Mrs \\. HCcckburn, Invercargill. Archdeacon J A. Jermyn officiated. The bride was attended hy her sister, Mrs V. J. Seelieck as Matron of Honour, ana Mr W. Gowdy. of Christchurch, was best man. STENHOUSE —NELSON. The wedding was solemnised at llciv Trinity Church, Greymouth, this morning of Vera, only daughter of M’- and Mrs. Richard Nelson, Runanga, and Gilbert, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Stenhouse, Blackball. Archdeacon J. A. Jermyn officiated. The bride, who was escorted by net father, wore a frock of iyory geori gette, made on slim-fitting lines. bodice was of ivory silk lace, made ! with wide sleeves and trimmed with I pearl buttons at the back. The skirt i fell from the waist to form a long I train. Her embroidered tulle veil was held in place with a coronet of orange blossom, and she carried a bouquet of white freezias, daisies and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaid, Miss May Stenhouse, sister of the bridegroom, wore a tight-fitting frodk of pink satin, under’ an over-dress of silk net, and. a halo of small pink roses. Her bouriuet was of pink daisies and dahlias. The flower girl, little Ellen Jones cousin of the bride, wore & fiocx o lemon floral satin and carried a small bouquet of pink roses. Mr. Harry Guerdon, Ahaura, was best man. The*reception was held at Owens Tea Rooms, where the bride’s mother received the guests, wearing a brown costume, brown straw hat mid a u St< Mr and Mrs. G. Stenhouse left by the express for Christchurch, the bride travelling in a nigger brown ensemble, with hat and accessories to tone. They will reside at Totara Flat. VIECELI—PHELAN. The wedding took place, at. Holy Trinity Church, this morning, of Mrs Emily Phelan and Luigi Vieceli. Archdeacon J. A. Jermyn officiated. The bride, who was escorted by her cousin, Mr J. Kyle, wore a jacket suit of navy cloque, with accessories to match, and carried a bouquet of cream and pink Autumn flowers. She was attended by Mrs M. Sweetman, who wore a frock of navy silk velvet, with sequin collar. Mr AV. Baker was best man. The reception was held at the Municipal Band Hall, where the guests were received by Mrs J. Kyle, cousin of the bride, who wore a frock of navy blue cloque and carried a bouquet of Autumn flowers.

Mr and Mrs L. Vieceli left by the express, on a tour of the North Island.
