. MR. MELDRUM AND MAYORALTY ’ Mr. W. Meldrum, the present Mayor ’ of Greymouth. announced to-day that he would be again a candidate for the office at the forthcoming election. Mr. Meldrum has been Mayor since 1935, when he defeated Messrs. F. A. KitchIngham and F. L. Turley, the sitting Mayor at that time (Mr. J. W. Greenslade) not seeking re-election. LABOUR CANDIDATES.
