WESTLAND—SECOND DAY FINANCIERE WINS AGAIN [SPECIAL TO “STAR.”] HOKITIKA, February 28. The Westland Racing Club’s meeting is being concluded to-day before a small attendance. The course is heavy after a heavy shower at noon, but the vzeather is fine. Results:— TRIAL STAKES, 6 furlongs. 1 KILROBE * 2 GOLD COAT 3 4 LISNACREE 3 All started. Won by two lengths: three lengths. Time 1.20 2-5. The farm favourite, Kilrobe, repeated the performance of her stablemate, Financiere, on Saturday, winning the opening event by two lengths from Gold Coat, who was second all the way, with Lisnacree a- length away third.
