PRESENTATIONS AT COURT.
LONDON, February 10.
The Lord Chamberlain announces that Their Majesties will hold four evening courts at Buckingham Palace in May and July; also two evening parties, attendance at which constitutes presentation at Court. The rush of applications in Coronation year resulted in many being held over, and applications this year are too great for the normal number of courts.

RUGBY, February 11.
The reasons for the King’s decision to abandon, on general and financial grounds, the project for paying a visit to India, next Winter, are fully understood here, and caused no surprise. “The Times” says that the outlook for the visit might be brighter, a few months hence, but it is necessary to take the decision now, and His Majesty had in mind the loss and inconvenience which would result from any change in plans, after the preparations had begun.
