Competition wasi strong, with Continental support predominating. Greasy merino made 22 Jd. ALLOAVANCE ON WOOL. LONDON, February 10. A meeting of wool importers and the British Wool Federation at Bradford passed a resolution emphatically protesting against the New Zealand. Australian, and South African proposals to abolish the draft allowance on wool. The meeting agreed to support the federation in any action in considers necessary to protect members’ interests. In accordance with these estimates, the total yield of wheat should be approximately 5,73(?,000 bushels, compared with an actual yield of 7,168,963 bushels in the previous season.
