SETTLED BY LEAGUE

INTERNATIONAL DISPUTES. [BY CABLE—PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] LONDON, February 10. Replying in the House of Commons to a Labour member's question on the work of the League of Nations, the Foreign Secretary (Mr. Eden) said 25 international disputes of a political character had been referred to it before January 1, 1931. All except one had been settled, either by the League Council or by direct negotiations between the parties.

Fifteen disputes had been submitted since January 1, 1931, of which eight had been similarly settled.
