THE REAL GERMANS

NOT CHRISTIAN OR JEW. Big-hearted, big-minded Julius Streicher has opened a big anti-Jew-ish fair in Munich, says the “New York Times.” When asked by the special correspondent of. the “New York Times” why an anti-Jewish fair, Herr Streicher smiled the well-known Streicher smile that never fails to throw young children into convulsions, and replied curtly that all is fair in love and war.

The theme song of the Streicher fair is as brief as it is sweet. Jews are children of the devil. Among other fiendish devices they have invented democracy. “This much-famed democracy is a measure of the Jew’s power,” said Streicher in his festal remarks. The big Jewish textbook is the Talmud. There are citations from the Talmud in the Munich fair, neatly framed, no doubt, with captions in big red letters. They show among other things that Jews are taught in the Talmud “to cheat and murder their Geniile neighbours.” Only two specific exhibits at the Streicher fair were, mentioned in the “Tinies” dispatch: the. citations from the Talmud and a photograph of Mayor 'La Guardia. Once more Hie very special correspondent, of this column steps into Hie breach. He sends ns two excerpts from documents almost as famous as the Talmud. Keeping in mind that the Jews, as the devil’s children, invented democracy, what could bo more appropriate than the following quotation, occupying a prominent place in a big black frame at. the Munich show? It is by the notorious Jewish writer Thomas Jefferson: “We hold these truths to be self-evi-dent. that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men. deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”

PERICLES PERLMUTTER. Across the room from this notorious Jewish document by Thomas Jefferson, who, as we all know, changed his name from the original Tobias Josephson, is shown another specimen of the vile Judaeo-democratic doctrine. It is by a so-called Pericles who lived in Athens, Greece, many years ago and whose original name was doubtless Perlmutter.

For many long centuries the Greek cities had lived their lives, disciplined, censored, drilled, and content under leaders or Fuhrers, known in the Greek language as Tyrants. Then along came this pernicious democratic droctrine of which we find a succinct statement by the aforesaid Peric-les-Perlmutter in a much-publicised funeral oration:

“We are happy in a form of government which cannot envy the laws of our neighbours, for it hath served as a. model to others, but is original at Athens. And this our form, as committed not to the few but to the whole body of the people, is called a democracy.” Not that Hie Christians have it any too easy in the Germany of Herr Streicher. While that great soul concentrates on the Jews the whole might of the Nazi Government is apparently being mobilised against the Christian Churches, to judge from a story on our front page. It requires only a knowledge of elementary arithmetic to substract from the German population the Jews who are children of the devil and the Christians who are children of darkness, to arrive at the true size of the Nazi-saving remnant in

Germany. Can it be that this is the real secret behind the great love uniting Ger-

many and her new buddy, Japan. If Ihe Jews won't do. ami Hie Christians won’t do, it may Lie Hitler is getting ready to suppress both of them and import the Shinto faith from Japan, with or without Nazi improvements. Juliens Streicher and his Munich fair may find in this new GermanJapanese partnership lor the defence of civilisation all kinds of possibilities. If the attendance at. his fair does not. come up to expectations Herr Streicher might import some geisha girls; provided lie is not. above taking a lesson from the Sally Rand experiment in a certain democratic nation. . , , Or the good Herr Streicher might put up some new posters on the walls of his exposition emphasising the contrast between the ways Jews treat little children and the Japanese way. Jews as Herr Streicher points out so forcefully, kill little Gentile children to drink their blood at the Passover feast. But the new' Japanese KulturKameradcn in their bombing planes never kill little children in Tientsin and Shanghai. What, never? Well, hardly ever!
