PASSENGERS INJURED

SERVICE CAR OVER BANK [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WHANGAREI, Feb. 9. One man was Seriously injured, and a boy was hurt, when the PaparoaWhangarei service ear left the road, and' rolled down a 40-foot bank. The accident occurred on a narrow stretch of road, following an impact with another .car. Those injured are: Charles Mills, middle-aged, address yet unknown, head and internal injuries. E. Levalliant, aged about 14, of Moeware, bruises and shock. C. Shoebridge, the driver of the service car, injuries to the left arm. ,ln addition, there was another adult in the car, and five children, all escaping injury. Mills, who was sitting in the front seat, was apparently thrown out. He ,was conscious when a doctor arrived, but the task of carrying him up the bank to the road was. difficult, and eight men were required to get him to the ambulance. He was taken to Whangarei Hospital.
