Communications between thei United States and British Governments about the British war debt have been issued as a White Paper, Acknowledging the notice by the American. Secretary of State (Mr Cordell’ Hull) of the amounts due, Sir Ronald Lindsay (British Ambassador to the United States) renews the assurance that “His Majesty’s Government will be willing to re-open discussion on the subject whenever thei circumstances are such as warrant the hope of a satisfactory result.”
