WITHDRAWAL DENIED.

The Foreign Office spokesman denies that Italy’s withdrawal from the League is imminent, but despite the official disclaimer, withdrawal seems certain. \
The Grand Council has been summoned for December 11. Immediately after the meeting, an announcement will be made from the balcony of the Piazza Venezia, instead of by the customary communique.-
GENEVA’S OPINION.

In view of Italy’s obstructionist tactics, League circles are not perturbed at the possibility that she may leave the League, though it is expected that Italy and Germany will bring pressure' on smaller States, to secede.
