Reports from the training camps of Schmelttig and Hany Th ( omas indicate that both are fit for their? fifteen round bout which- takes; place on Monday. Jack Johnson predicted that Thomas will make it “plenty, tough” for Schmeling. > Gene Tunney, said that Schmeling could knock out Joe Louis again tomorrow. His eighteen months’ rest had not detracted one iota from his ring -efficiency.

LEWIS AND GASTANAGA. (Recd. December 9, 8 a.m.) NEW YORK, December 8. At St. Louis, John Henry Lewis, technically knocked out Isidro Gastanaga, in the ninth of a non-title fifteen rounds bout, thus avenging his defeat two months ago.
