A grandstand, on which five thousand, including high-placed diplomats, were watching a military parade, crumpled into the area below, without, warning. Many of those injured suffered broken legs and arms.
The parade was suspended, the troops rescuing the victims. LATER.
Hundreds are reported injured, including the Belgian Consul General, who suffered a broken leg, and other important officials tint! diplomats. The crash occurred When the spectators after rising in unison to salute a passing detachment, sat simultaneously. There is an official censorship, and the public are not. informed as'to the extent of the accident, and those injured.
