BADMINTON
HOKITIKA v. ST. JOHN’S. A team representing St. John’s Badminton Club journeyed to Hokitika last evening, in another attempt to win the Gunn trophy from the Hokitika Club. Though Hokitika, won easily by 10 games, 241 points to 2 games, 157 points, the games were fairly even and interesting. After the match the Hokitika ladies served supper, Air V. Stevens congratulated Hokitika on their victory, and thanked them for their hospitality. Mr A. Stevenson replied on behalf of Hokitika.
