The Scotsman had lost a pound note. Sadly he entered the advertisement office of the local newspaper and handed in the notice he wanted inserted in the “Lost and Found" column. The clerk had difficulty in restraining his mirth when he read: “Lost a I £l note. Sentimental value.”
