CHARGES AGAINST MAN [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN. June 25. “During the time this man lias been in Dunedin, he has committed bigamy, stolen two wireless sets, and obtained credit by fraud. A further charge of the theft of a wireless set in Christchurch. is to be preferred," said Chief Detective Young, of George Henry Ellis. 30. who pleaded guilty in the Police Court to the theft of a radio set. The detective asked for a remand, as other charges were to ho preferred. He said that accused was married iti Auckland in January last, and left his wife in Te Kuiti a month ago. He came to Dunedin, where ho advertised for a wife. A girl answered, and the accused married her. He was remanded for a week.
