He sang a high G loudly—and a wineglass at a distant table was shattered bv the vibrations of his voice. “Onlv two singers have ever done this before.” said Mr. Lovering to a “Sundav Chronicle” reporter, "Caruso and Folio, the Irish tenor who adopted an Italian name. "1 was surprised and proud of my accidental feat and am keeping the fragments of the wine-glass as a souvenir.”
