ARCHBISHOP’S REBUKE. [BY CABLE —PBESS ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.] (Recd. June 24, 1 p.m.) LONDON, June 23. The Archbishop of Canterbury, speaking at the Church Assembly, said that even if he wished he had no power to remove the Dean of Canterbury from office, for his actions and opinions, but he had expressed to him regret that he had brought the name of the Cathedral Church of Canterbury into the arena of political controversy. The Dean has been prominent in support of the Spanish loyalists, social credit, etc.
