FATAL CLASH WITH POLICE [By CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.] (Recd. June 24, 1 p.m.). VILLAMERMOSA (Mexico), June 23. Nine persons, including the Police Chief, were killed in a gun battle after an attempt by the police to arrest Catholics attending religious services in a private home. Federal troops, are en route, to restore order. Tobasco State has banned religious services for several years past.
