In reply to the League’s representations regarding the travelling of school boys’ teams, the Railways Department advised that no objection would be raised to the granting of the concession fares, provided that, the team comprised only bona fide scholars, the application was signed by a responsible official of the League, and the team was accompanied by an accredited member of the Centre. The New Zealand League acknowledged the receipt of the nomination of Mr. L. Hunter as South Island selector, and advised that Mr. J. E. H. Amos had been appointed to the position.
