BASKETBALL

EXECUTIVE MEETING. A meeting of the Executive Committee of the West Coast. Basketball Association was held last evening, there being present Misses Ray, Gardner, Tennent, McSherry, Kerins, Hill and Rohloff. . The Referees’ Association advised that, at the annual meeting Miss M. A. Gardner and Miss M. Tennent were elected president and secretarytreasurer, respectively. Runanga applied for the registration of M. Taylor, M. Marshall. G. Hector, and M. Caulter. —Granted. The date of the Moore Cup Tournament was fixed for Saturday, July 31. Names of players for registration were received from the Technical and St. Mary's Clubs. It was decided that, in the event of the West Coast representative team travelling to the Dominion Tournament, at' Auckland. Greymouth members of the team be asked to pay half of their expenses.
