REGULATIONS IN DUNDEE. If one may believe the report in an English paper. Dundee is likely to lx as silent as the tomb between 10.31 pan. and 8.30 a.m. every day for at least the next 15 years. Wireless reception, it is said, it to be stopped during those hours. Here is the report:— Dundee is to undergo a course ol beauty treatment lasting 15 years and costing Jl 15,000,000. New housing schemes will be carlied out, tenements and old buildings pulled down, streets widened and renovated, and business premises reconstructed. Rehousing the people in 15,000 houses will cost C'.1.000.000. Negotiations are taking place for extending the city’s boundaries by 4,1158 acres for housing land. Strict regulations have been trained for occupants of housing estates. According to these regulations tenants must not— Hang out clothes or mats on Sunda.'. Leave* ropes on poles after clothes are. dried. Keep dogs, pigeons, hens, or rabbits. Play or operate musical instruments or wireless between the hours m 1it.30 pan. and 8.30 a.m. Shake mats or carpets over the railings or windows. Allow weeds to grow in the garden or allotment. Allow children to trespass on the jreeii.
