Fire broke out during the night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Beet at Birmingham, while they were at a neighbour’s house, having left their three children, a- girl and two boys aged 10, 9 and 5 sleeping. Walter Collins, living next door, practically succeeded in getting the youngest child from a bedroom window, when he was overcome. He and the three children were incinerated.
