ST. BEDE’S OLD BOYS
ANNUAL RE-UNION The annual re-union of West Coast and Canterbury Old Boys’ of St. Bede’s College took place in Greymouth on Wednesday. A football match between Canterbury and West Coast at Victoria Park, was won by Canterbury by .16 points to 12. , In the ’evening a re-union dinner was held at Herb. Moore’s, where Mr. R. Boland (Christchurch), presided over an attendance of about. 50 old boys of the College, including 20 from Christchurch. Toasts were honoured as follow:— “The. Teams” ,(Mr. F. Malley—Messrs L. Mbrresey and W. Gilbert); “The Association” (Mr. P. Blanchfleld—- Mr; B. Bradley (secretary),; “West Coast Branch" (Mr. R. Boland —Messrs N. Quinn, J. Shaffrey, F. Simmonds and J. Stewart).
