LATE MESSAGE
WELLINGTON, June 8
“1 have just, had' a. report from thi officer in charge of the school fot drivers, and 1 am pleased to say that he reports it is a great success," said the Magistrate (Mr E. D. Mosley), it the Magistrate’s Court, to-dav.
A young woman was charged with driving in a manner which might have teen dangerous, and when asked how long she had been driving, she replied to the Magistrate, "A month." Asked if she would sooner go to the school than pay a heavy line, she said she would sooner go to the school, and accordingly she was placed on probation, conditional on going. A Palmerston North defendant .da it in Hansen, charged with driving similarly at Tawa Flat, is also to attend the school for tuition once a week tor tour weeks. He was ordmed to pay In/- costs.
