The racing driver, Freddie' Dixon, was fined £5O, with £2O costa, and disqualified from driving tor two years, at the Surrey quarter sessions, on a charge of dangerous driving. Dixon allegedly drove on the wrong side, forcing two cars off the road. The disqualification will prevent his projected 400 miles an hour attempt next year.
