The public accounts for the 12 months ended March 31, which were dealt with comprehensively My the Acting-Minister for Finance (the Hon. P. Fraser) in a statement issued on May 24, were published in a supplementary gazette to-night. The principal items in the accounts are as follows:—Revenu’e for the period totalled £31,147,187, compared with £26,172,367 for the corresponding period of the previous year. Expenditure'totalled £30,675,158, compared With £25,890,567 for the corresponding period of the previous year. The revenue was made up as follows: —
