LABOUR PARTY’S CAMPAIGN

[BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.]

LONDON, June 4.

The British Labour Party is undertaking a great propaganda campaign throughout the country at the direction of Mr. Herbert Morrison in readiness for the next election.

Meetings are being held at the seaside in the holiday season in the hope of enrolling 1,000,000 more inembers on a “holidays with pay” appeal, as part of Labour’s election platform. A resolution passed unanimously by the committee of the National Labour Executive states: “The executive "welcomes the maintenance of a. national Government, records its appreciation of the services Mr. Neville Chamberlain has rendered in the past, expresses its complete confidence in him as Prime Minister and assures him that National Labour will give him the same loyal support as accorded his two predecessors.”
