INFANTILE PARALYSIS
WELLINGTON. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, May 28. A positive case of infantile paralysis was admitted, to the Wellington Hospital to-day. The patient is a girl of two and a-half years from Wallaceville. Upper Hutt. This case is not. marked by any paralysis. It is the first positive notification reported since May 16. GERALDINE DEATH. GERALDINE, May 28. The third fatal case of infantile paralysis in the Geraldine district has occurred. The case was that of a young man, aged 21 years, from the Belfield district, six miles from Geraldine.
CANTERBURY CASES.
CHRISTCHURCH, May 28.
The first new notifications of infantile paralysis for two days were received by" the Health Department in Christchurch. Two cases were reported, those of a girl aged 10, from Riccarton, and another aged five, from Culverden. NELSON. NELSON, May 29. The first positive case of infantile paralysis, a boy, aged eight, was admitted to the hospital from Nelson.
