LIVING IN POVERTY. MELBOURNE, May IS. For many years, Mr William Vernon Wilson, 68, of Melbourne, has been living in a room for which he paid 5/- a week. He has struggled to live on about 30/- a week, and has walked the streets in search of employment. Soon, however, Mr Wilson will travel to England to take over estates which will keep him in luxury for the rest, of his life. Because he believes that it is all too good to be true, and that he might tail to satisfy the executors in England about his identity, he will continue to work in Melbourne until his departure. Mr Wilson has satisfied Messrs Motile, Hamilton, and Derharn, the Melbourne- agents for the executors of tho will of the late Lieutenant .lames, of England, that he is the rightful heir to three estates. Six' ! ether beneficiaries have been found near Alice Springs (Central Aus-, tralia'i. and other claims are being' investigated.
